Villa Pullover Jr is knit top-down in the round. First the neckline is worked in ribbing. The neckline is folded over, then the yoke is worked. First the upper back is worked in German Short Rows, then the upper body is worked incorporating three increasing rows, which are made before each villa pattern. Stitches for the arms are placed on a stitch holder while the rest of the body is worked. The arms are then picked up and worked, also incorporating the villa pattern while making decreases evenly down the sleeve.

The pullover is knit using three colors: white is the main color, while red and blue are secondary colors. These are the traditional colors work on the original jacket, but of course you can choose any colors you prefer. The sweater incorporates evenly the villa pattern, which is worked over five rows/rounds in a secondary color.
